Envase 2019: finding everything at once!

Identifying drink bottles which cannot be safely filled as well as incorrectly loaded, wrongly marked or with foreign objects contaminated food containers in-line and removing them reliably: HEUFT S.A. will be presenting innovative checking and inspection systems which can detect several safety risks and quality defects at the same time in the smallest of spaces at Envase 2019 in Buenos Aires.

Linear systems based on the highly automated HEUFT SPECTRUM II platform achieve true peak values when inspecting empty bottles in terms of detection and rejection reliability. In addition to the HEUFT InLine II IXS and the HEUFT InLine II IS X-ray assisted premium systems there is a space-saving entry-level device of the new generation as a powerful standard solution so that smaller bottlers with less space can also benefit from this performance which can be experienced in action at Envase: the HEUFT InLine II IR! The direct successor to the long time top seller in this field carries out a complete inspection of each container before the filling process on less than one square metre of floor space – and finds a wide range of faults from residual lye on the base to defects in the thread and cracks in the finish in one and the same work process. The modular system can be equipped with one or two additional detection units as required for a complete sidewall inspection depending on the container type and the line speed.

Real additional functionality is also offered for another new solution based on the HEUFT SPECTRUM II which will be showcased for the first time at the trade fair in Argentina: the extremely compact HEUFT eXaminer II XS not only identifies foreign objects such as glass splinters or small pieces of metal in freshly filled beverage and food containers at the end of the line. In addition to the pulsed X-ray technology available exclusively from the technology leader which is used for this purpose further detections can be integrated in order to find other problems reliably such as fill level deviations, closure and marking faults.

And the grown up HEUFT PRIME now provides even more functionality during a full container check: it will be demonstrated at Envase 2019 how it not only checks the filling quantity but also the internal pressure and thus the tightness of filled food cans as well as verifying best before dates, barcodes and 2D codes.

Therefore visiting HEUFT at Envase in Buenos Aires, Argentina is again worthwhile: Stand 121, Centro Costa Salguero, 10 to 13 September 2019.
